Location & Lodging

All classes and overnight ritual retreat are held at The Scarlet Haus, a private home in South Seattle, Washington. Address and directions given upon registration.

The venue has two levels. All classes and temple activities will occur downstairs, accessible via a door on the ground level with a 3.5″ step into the house. There is a bathroom on the ground level as well as one upstairs for those who are able bodied.

Four cats and three snakes live upstairs, but the downstairs is kept cat- and snake-free at all times. Please do note that we attempt to keep the downstairs as free of cat dander as possible for those who have allergies, but cannot guarantee a completely cat-free space.

This is a scent-reduced space. We use scent-free products to clean and scent-free soap in the (gender neutral) bathrooms, but burn herbal incense and essential oils in the space a few times a month.

Pricing

The price for TEA includes four days/two weekends of workshop and one overnight retreat. The retreat includes five catered meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday), three days facilitated ritual, and two nights’ accommodations.

Meals and accommodations for the first two weekends are not included in the price. Though if you desire additional accommodation during the first two weekends, you are welcome to stay at the venue for an additional $25/night or other arrangement made with the hosts.

TEA is priced on a three-tier pricing structure based on what you feel best suits your income level.

Accessible: $300-500* | Default: $600 | Generous: $700-1100+**

In addition to the base price for TEA, you have the option of booking 1 hour, 1.5 hour, or 2 hour sessions with Tai during the weeks in between class time for $100/hour, which is a significant discount from their regular session price.

*We are dedicated to making this work as accessible as possible, so if the Accessible rate is still too much for your immediate budget we can set up a payment plan on an individual basis. We also have a very limited number of scholarships and work trades available, especially for people with marginalized identities. If either of these options is something you are interested in, please do not hesitate to (click here to) contact Tai for more information.

**Generous payments assist us to cover costs of those who cannot afford the default price. Anything above the $600 of our default cost is considered a donation to our scholarship fund and is greatly appreciated!
